joe buccino
Joe Buccino is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 30 years of experience in military communications and public affairs. He has advised top military leaders, cabinet officials, and the White House on critical communications strategies. He is a member of the Ragan Communications Executive Leadership Council. Joe's expertise spans global operations, crisis response, and high-level media relations. He has a proven record of influencing U.S. policy and crafting impactful messaging in complex geopolitical situations.

On March 12, 2025, Vantage + Vox founding partner Erin Miser was recognized by Ragan Communications as one of the Top Women in Communications, a prestigious honor celebrating the industry's most innovative leaders. Selected from hundreds of nominations, Erin was recognized for her exceptional client service and strategic communication leadership at Vantage + Vox.
In addition, PR Daily has named Erin as one of just six finalists for Media Relations Professional of the Year for 2025. This recognition highlights her ability to secure impactful media coverage and build meaningful relationships with journalists. The award winner will be announced at a ceremony in September.
In 2022, Joe Buccino won the Vital Speeches of the Day Cicero Award for excellence in the art of speechwriting for his 2021 speech “What It Means,” a reflection on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
